Compact, but super bright.
I purchased two of these to attach to the underside of the gantry on our 4x8 CNC machine. Without them the gantry casts large shadows making it difficult to see some of the finer work. They are attached with double stick tape. As you can see in the photo, they put out a lot of light. I can now see everything very clearly.
These are hooked up to a AA 12v battery pack (also purchased here on SmartBrightLeds). Because of the gantry's large field of movement I didn't want to use an adapter plugged into an AC outlet. Instead, I strapped the battery pack to the gantry with Velcro strips so it all moves with the gantry.
